So what exactly is the problem so many people have with Sarah Palin?
Before getting into this, a couple of backdrop notes are in order. First, the Christian involved with politics on any level does not have the luxury of demonizing their opponent. Criticize policies, yes. But when calling out dishonesty, the requirement is to state the facts without personal accusation. Although doing so will invariably bring forth cries of judgment, this is not the case. Truth, properly stated, is not in violation of God’s edicts.
Second, a thought about how cries of racism are raised the moment breathes a word against Barack Obama. A minute with the Word is in order here. Racism is a sin. As the Scripture says, “Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all (Col. 3:11).” The true church knows no color. One could go from there and talk about not so true churches segregating themselves, something which both white and black churches have aggressively practiced over the centuries and the black church still emphasizes today even as it screams “racist!” against whites; for an example reference Wright, Jeremiah as he is hardly the only preacher spewing such garbage. But I wouldn’t want anyone calling me a racist. Even though I’m telling the truth. But I digress.
To attack Obama based on the color of his skin is stupid, wrong, abhorrent, an abomination, utterly unacceptable, etc etc etc. Period. You get the idea. To criticize Obama because his proposed policies are hardcore leftist nonsense firmly rooted in socialist demagoguery and/or his duplicity in denying his longtime personal and professional relationship with individuals such as unrepentant ’60s domestic terrorist William Ayers and organizations such as ACORN which pursue a course of election manipulation via illegal voter registration? Again: truth, properly stated, is not in violation of God’s edicts. No matter how inconvenient the truth may be.
That all said, exactly how is Sarah Palin pointing out Obama’s shortcomings a sin? And before anyone screams “what about…” go here for the official report on her firing of her state’s Commissioner of Public Safety. Next, tell me how you’d feel about a former brother-in-law about whom your sister felt it necessary to file a domestic violence protection order. Which was granted by a judge. Funny how that goes unmentioned by most all Palin haters. But since it’s only a woman…
Unfair, they cry. We stand against not only racism but sexism! We’re feminists! Equality is our mantra!

You are as sexist as they come. The moment a woman comes along with the unmitigated gall to marry her high school sweetheart and have a large family — or be married and have a family period except for maybe one or at the most two trophy kids — you spit on her as somehow violating the feminist agenda. How dare she be… be… traditional! And she’s calling out Obama! That little…
… Christian whose life and work throws all your puny little dictums about women in your face so you call her names and accuse her of attitudes you exemplify every day in your own words and actions against her, thus making you hypocrites?
No wonder so many people have a problem with Sarah Palin.
