In the “a whole lot sooner than I had planned” department, I decided yesterday evening I really didn’t want to pay for renewing the proprietary blogging software this site had been on when I was planning on getting away from it ASAP, so I canceled it. This deleted the blog’s previous location, but since I’d already saved it and made backups of same it wasn’t a major concern. I lament all old links to specific posts now being inoperative, but there was no way around that. The base address itself (http://blog.goldfishandclowns.com) now redirects here.
I have a place on the sidebar where you can sign up for e-mail updates as things are posted. That said, although I genuinely appreciate anyone and everyone believing my little scribbles are worth receiving in this fashion for the next several weeks I recommend against doing so. I’m going to be putting all the posts from the old site on here one at a time, so unless you are in the mood to get six hundred plus items in your inbox you might want to hold off on subscribing. I had originally planned on copying the posts from oldest to newest, but thought better of it and will be going the other way. Then again, when am I not going in the opposite direction from most everyone else? After the posts are completed I’ll bring over the comments.
We now resume our regularly scheduled blogging.
