I was talking with an old friend recently made earlier this evening.  She was rather down in the dumps from some adverse medical news and needed someone to lend an ear, letting her know it’d be all right and reassuring her she would be kept in prayer.  I can do that.  So I did and am.

When I hung up the phone, I thought about how much this person has given of herself over the years on behalf of different ministries to which she’s been called.  Now?  Well, now as in right now she wanted someone to listen who cared.  I can do that.  So I did.

Can you do that?

I’m thinking yes.
