First, the most important thing to do is pray for Rifqa - and her family. I have added them to my prayers. Second, per Acts 5:41b, Christians should rejoice "because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name." I am reminded of Veggie Tales creator Phil Vischer who wondered why Christians are surprised when the world acts worldly. The thing is, and I know I do this, we often give unbelievers the same benefit of the doubt we would give fellow believers. So, we are shocked still. God bless, Michael Two things. She responded with a solid, "I don't know." I heard Rifqa say that she will be the first girl in the family (in their 150 year history) to turn away from the Muslim faith.
