To be absent from the body is to be present from the Lord. I heard that just now as I posted that.
I’m looking forward to seeing you two see each other again. When my Granddaddy died, I didn’t know what to think, I was so confused. Then God gave me a dream and I saw what he looks like in Heaven. He was eaten alive by cancer and died a shell of a man, but in the dream he was hale, healthy, and strong, glowing with the presence of God.
May the same Comforter visit you in dreams and wrap His arms around you tonight.
Very sorry to hear that. It is so difficult to experience the death of a parent. My mother-in-law has liver cancer and is quite ill. It is part of our lives, but it isn’t easy. Prayers to you and your family.
Jerry – My heart is with you in this loss…. I can’t even imagine the feelings, emotions and things you are feeling. But know this – my prayers and love are with you even though I’m not close in person…
You are truly an awesome friend and brother and I’m so glad to have you in my life.
Heaven must be an amazing place – and I’m hoping that your mama finds my grandparents and other relatives that have gone on… I can just imagine them sitting and talking and getting to know each other – and telling stories about “us”!!!
God bless you friend – you and Debi both – Luv you guys!

They may not be more to say today. Sometimes pain won’t fit into words.
The words may come tomorrow.
Or next week.
Or next month.
Or next year.
When you’re ready to talk, I & many of your friends will be here, ready to listen, without critique.
In the meantime, you remain in my prayers.
My thoughts are with you.
Take heart that your Mother is with GOD now. I will say a prayer and light a candle for you and your family.
I’m sorry, man. I wish I could hop on a plane right now and come give you a hug or a fist-bump or something. It will be OK.
