Musings Late On A Sunday Night

As the new Lost Dogs album plays (rapidly becoming my favorite by them), a few random thoughts.

• I’m thinking there’s a touch of irony in my writing I’m having a lot of trouble writing, but ’tis the case. Not altogether sure what the deal might be. Although I have had a lot on my mind these past few months.

• I’ve been getting some odd links the past couple of days courtesy of my post about a few favorite ladies of a conservative bent who are stellar members of new media. My apologies to those expecting hot photos… actually, I don’t apologize in the least. Not my style.

• This reminds me… there’s been a bit of a conundrum over the original motivator for the aforementioned post, this reaching so far as to be mentioned in the disgusting… er, august pages of Newsweek. Anyway, in the post I made mention that the ladies are, even as I type, compiling their own list of hot conservative guys who are members of new media. The announcement is scheduled for tomorrow. Unless I get in on a sympathy vote I harbor no illusions about being included. Still, it’d be nice.

• A more certain fact concerning tomorrow is that I’ll preorder the next generation iPhone as soon as the Apple online store makes it available. Or the AT&T online store. Assuming Steve Jobs announces it at WWDC, which would appear to be a fairly safe bet. That all said, it’s not a guarantee I’ll preorder one. As Simply Red sang once upon a time, money’s too tight to mention.

• I miss my Mom.
