Time for another acknowledgment of a member of:
League Of Extraordinarily Unlinked Bloggers
This time, the, uh, “lucky” blogger is KillTruck of the blog bearing the same name. She also posts at POWIP.
KT (not her real initials, but it’s what she goes by on her blog) is feisty and fearless. She’s the tart-tongued girl in the back of the class, the one who whenever she opens her mouth everyone ducks and covers. With deadly accuracy she aims her barbs at all deserving scorn. KT doesn’t play favorites. No one is above or beyond her reach.
If this was all she had to offer, KT would swiftly become a single-note samba. It isn’t, and she’s anything but one-dimensional. Underneath the caustic wit is a fascinating, intelligent woman who is Ephesians 4:15 in action. KT is most definitely grown-up, there is tough along with toughened love in her words, and oh boy does she speak the truth.
KT has endured, and continues to endure, a large swath of sorrows: a father who left this earth too soon, an autistic son. Yet she perseveres, ofttimes warily yet never in defeat. Humor is a skillfully wielded weapon in her hands, one we are fortunate she chooses to share with her readers, be they followers of her blog or her account on Twitter.
KT’s writing is rich with both beauty, in how she skillfully uses the language, and power. Whatever topic is at hand, be it politics or family or pop culture or what have you, is discussed with passion and grace. Simply put, KT is a superb writer, one who deserves a mass audience that would be so much the better for reading her compositions. Unfortunately, she has only a minuscule fraction of the readership she deserves.
